benefit. If you decided to love your wife, it would delight her. If you verbally or physically abuse her, it would devastate her. If you tell your children you love them and spend time with them it makes them feel wanted and secure. If you don’t, it makes them feel rejected. If you speak well of your husband to others and express to him that you are by his side as a loyal companion and a faithful wife, it will have an impact on him that produces great effect, and that in turn will benefit you. Every action we take produces changes that make a difference. Every decision we make has an impact. Every word we speak has the power to create effect.
When God created the heavens and the earth and everything in it… He said it. God said it; and it was so. For example in Genesis chapter 1 verse 3 it says, “And God said ‘Let there be light’, and there was light.” He goes on to create everything in this way; He says it, and it is. When He made men and women He made us in His image (resemblance; hence a representative figure), and in His likeness (manner, similitude). So, if God spoke the world into existence, and He made us like Him, do you think our words have no impact in our world? Do you believe that you can change the world?
Pay attention to what you are speaking and see what kind of world you are creating around you. What is coming out of your mouth? Are you bringing ruin to yourself by speaking negative things? Say things that will bring about good life and success, speak confidently and believe that all things are possible for you. Are you lacking peace in your life? Begin rejoicing, praying, and being thankful. Are you in trouble? Begin speaking life and light and love. Are you afraid? Tell fear to go, it has no right to be there tormenting you! Are you depressed? Speak joy, receive joy, and believe that you have joy! Are your relationships going down the drain? Speak Kind Words and watch things turn around.
We are equipped with the gift to be the sons and daughters of the living God. If you feel that you lack the power to overcome the trouble in your life, ask God to help you. He loves you and wants you to be full of wisdom and full of joy. Test these things, try them and see that they work. Continue in them and they will become a way of life for you. We get good at things that we practice everyday. Do you believe that you can change the world? I believe that we are “changing the world… one word at a time.”

They are learning skills, being schooled, growing strong. They are given hope and a future; they are the ones God has given into our care. They have names and dreams of their own and God knows them well. They are the ones who will come to this ARK that we will build together.
I call them ARKids (Africa Revolution Kids or, more affectionately; our kids… ARKids).
